St. Mel's Primary School has educated the children of the parish and local community since 1957 and continues to offer a rich, quality Catholic educational experience for children from Foundation to Year 6. You Will

• Be a registered teacher with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
• Have a commitment to Catholic Education and the Catholic Identity of St Mel's Primary School.
• Have an ability to provide students with a rich and rewarding educational experience and embrace a collegial, team-based approach to teaching and learning.
• Have the ability to foster effective relationships with student, staff, parents and the St Mel's Parish community.
• Implement engaging learning experiences that foster curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for learning.

In 2025, a diocesan first, a comprehensive and exciting new learning and teaching program was simultaneously launched across over 50 Catholic schools in the Sandhurst Diocese.
