Catholic Education Sandhurst Limited (CESL) is seeking a Deputy Principal to join our team. This is an exciting, fixed term full-time opportunity reporting to the Principal. Please note: This position will have an ongoing teacher contract in place.

Core Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership
• Collaborate with the Principal to shape and implement the school's vision, ensuring alignment with Catholic teachings and the mission of Catholic Education Sandhurst Ltd (CESL).
• Lead initiatives that promote continuous improvement in teaching, learning, and community engagement.
2. Educational Leadership
• Oversee curriculum development and the implementation of innovative teaching practices.
• Support staff professional development and foster a culture of reflective practice.
• Monitor student academic progress and implement strategies to enhance learning outcomes.
3. Community and Pastoral Care
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all students.
• Engage with families and the wider community to build strong partnerships.
• Lead wellbeing programs and support services that cater to the diverse needs of students.
4. Operational Management
• Assist in the day-to-day management of the school, including staffing, timetabling, and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and CES Ltd policies.
• Act as Acting Principal in the Principal's absence, maintaining continuity of leadership.

The Position
• Title: Deputy Principal - Learning and Teaching 
• Classification: DPCB
• Salary per hour/year: $135,020-$139,880
• FTE / Hours per fortnight: FTE 1.0
• Employment Status: Ongoing
• Location: Benalla
• Other Requirements:
Demonstrated commitment to the Catholic faith and the ethos of Catholic education.
Proven leadership experience in educational settings, with a focus on collaboration and innovation.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, fostering positive relationships with all stakeholders.
Accreditation to teach and/or lead in a Catholic school, with current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
