Catholic Education Sandhurst Limited (CESL) is seeking a Payroll Compliance Analyst to join our Payroll Operations Team. This is an exciting ongoing opportunity reporting to the Payroll Operations Lead commencing on 21st April 2026.

The Position

  • Title: Payroll Compliance Analyst
  • Classification: CEO Administration Level 5
  • Salary per hour/year: $50.50 per hour
  • FTE / Hours per fortnight: Negotiable - either 0.8 FTE * 2 roles or 1.0 FTE + 0.6 FTE (please indicate full time or part time preference in your application)
  • Employment Status: Ongoing
  • Location: Bendigo, Tatura or Wangaratta
  • Other Requirements: WWCC, National Police Check, Driver's License

About The CESL Office

The CESL Office Team comprises of close to 150 employees working across 7 key functional areas, supporting over 50 schools and early childhood centres within the Sandhurst Diocese. We are a supportive and friendly team who are committed to working collaboratively with our schools to achieve the best outcomes possible for our students. With office locations in Bendigo, Wangaratta and Tatura.

About You

  • Tertiary qualification in auditing, finance, business or accounting or relevant experience in Payroll
  • Experience in payroll processing applying various industrial instruments
  • Experience with payroll technologies
  • Strong knowledge of legislation underpinning payroll
  • Demonstrated skills in research, analytical assessment and problem solving
  • Highly developed excel skills
