The Opportunity
We are seeking a Casual Assistant Chief Exam Supervisor to join our school community from May 2026. This person will be required at certain times of the year to assist with GAT and EXAMS. You will be paid to attend training in May with the GAT to be held on the 16 June 2026.
This position requires strong leadership, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to effectively support and manage a team of examination supervisors. The role is responsible for upholding examination integrity, following all VCAA procedures, and ensuring examinations are conducted in a professional, organised, and supportive environment for students and staff.

You will:
Support the Chief Supervisor in the secure receipt, storage, reconciliation, collection, and handover of all VCAA external assessment materials in accordance with VCAA requirements.
Assist in the administration of examinations by ensuring supervisors and students understand examination procedures, including arrangements for students with approved Special Examination Arrangements.
Maintain examination integrity by supervising student behaviour, preventing misconduct, reporting incidents, and implementing removal procedures when required.
Support the Chief Supervisor in briefing and guiding examination supervisors, including procedures, responsibilities, and contingency arrangements.
Ensure a safe, orderly, and supportive examination environment by maintaining consistent supervision, responding to emergencies, and demonstrating duty of care for students’ physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing.
