The Opportunity

We are seeking a Learning Support Officer to join our school community.

A great Fixed Term Part Time opportunity exists for a Learning Support Officer to join our positive, supportive and close-knit school environment.  Hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 - 3:15pm

You will:

  • Collaborate and Plan: Work with teachers and Learning Diversity Leaders to plan and implement curriculum adjustments, interventions, and Personalised Learning Plans (PLPs) to support inclusive education for all students.
  • Student Support and Guidance: Assist individual students and small groups, both in and out of the classroom, by providing support aligned with their PLPs, including note taking, scribing, clarifying instructions, and ensuring their participation in activities.
  • Progress Monitoring and Reporting: Maintain records of learning interventions, complete observation records, and regularly report on student progress to the Learning Enrichment Leaders and classroom teachers.
  • Behaviour and Relationship Management: Maintain respect, empathy, and positive relationships with students while supporting behaviour standards and ensuring a productive classroom environment.
