We’re seeking an enthusiastic Year 4 Teacher to join our dynamic team in 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a progressive, innovative and supportive Catholic community where initiative is celebrated, collaboration is central, and every educator is seen as a leader of learning.

The Position

  • Title: Year 4 Teacher

  • Classification: Teacher – under the Catholic Education Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2022

  • Employment Type: Full Time | Fixed Term (2026)

  • Location: St Francis of the Fields Primary School, Strathfieldsaye

  • Requirements: Current VIT Registration | Accreditation to Teach Religious Education (or willingness to obtain)

In 2025, a diocesan first, a comprehensive and exciting new learning and teaching program was simultaneously launched across over 50 Catholic schools in the Sandhurst Diocese. 

Magnify Sandhurst will be introduced across 2025 to 2027, with each phase designed to bring measurable improvements in each learning environment. 

Magnify Sandhurst is set to transform learning for students with more specific and explicit teaching practices, bringing greater consistency and a more predictable and effective education experience for all students. 

The Magnify Sandhurst program combines evidence-based practices in teaching and learning to support each student's unique needs, strengths, and goals, focusing on strengthening core areas like literacy and numeracy, building supportive classroom environments, and integrating Catholic values in daily learning.
