VET Health Specialisation - Part Time
The Opportunity
We are seeking a Part Time VET Health Specialisation Teacher to join our school community to commence asap or on the 5 October 2026, to create an engaging and stimulating learning environment through the delivery of the Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (Specialisation in Assisting with Nursing Care) program

The Position
- Title: VET Health Specialisation Teacher
- Classification: T1 to T2 range depending on qualifications - $79,589 to $118,063 CEMEA 2022
- FTE/ Hours per fortnight: .3 FTE -11.4 hours per week (Wednesday each week Plus planning time)
- Employment Status: Ongoing
- Location: Notre Dame College Knight St or Emmaus Campus, Shepparton - La Trobe University
- Start Date: Asap or 5 October 2026 Term 4

You will:
- Hold a Current AHPRA Registered Nurse Div 1, Cert IV Assessment and Training and relevant Industry Experience to apply for your Permission to Teach (HR to assist with application)
- Have a commitment to Catholic Education and the Catholic Identity
- Plan, prepare and deliver quality and effective teaching and learning programs which are consistent with the Australian Professional standards for teachers: the College Learning and Teaching Charter, College course outlines, curriculum policies, work programs and educational trends
- Support students through interaction with them in a variety of settings and through the active development of supportive learning environments and effective behaviour management practices.

In 2025, a diocesan first, a comprehensive and exciting new learning and teaching program was simultaneously launched across over 50 Catholic schools in the Sandhurst Diocese.
Magnify Sandhurst will be introduced across 2025 to 2027, with each phase designed to bring measurable improvements in each learning environment.
