College Nurse - Part time
The Opportunity
Notre Dame College is seeking a Part time College Nurse to commence as soon as possible.
The College Nurse is responsible for leading and coordinating student and staff health services to support a safe, healthy and inclusive learning environment. The role oversees the delivery of first aid and healthcare, maintains student health plans and medical records, ensures compliance with relevant legislation and College policies, coordinates health-related training for staff, and works collaboratively with wellbeing, learning diversity, occupational health and safety, and administration teams. The College Nurse also promotes health awareness and education across the College community, supporting the wellbeing of students and staff through proactive health initiatives and effective communication.
As a valued member of the College community, the successful applicant will actively support and promote the College’s Catholic ethos, mission, vision, and Mercy and Marist traditions. The role requires a commitment to student wellbeing, confidentiality, workplace safety, and professional collaboration, while contributing to a welcoming and service-focused environment for students, staff, and volunteers.

You will:

- Health and First Aid Services – Deliver and coordinate health care and first aid services to support the safety and wellbeing of students and staff.
- Student Health Management – Maintain accurate health records and coordinate individual health plans, medication management and medical compliance.
- Health Partnerships – Liaise with families, staff and external health providers to ensure effective health support and communication.
- Training and Health Promotion – Coordinate first aid training, health education and wellbeing initiatives across the College community.
- Compliance and Administration – Ensure compliance with health legislation, College policies and professional standards while supporting administrative operations.
Magnify Sandhurst
In 2025, a diocesan first, a comprehensive and exciting new learning and teaching program was simultaneously launched across over 50 Catholic schools in the Sandhurst Diocese.
Magnify Sandhurst will be introduced across 2025 to 2027, with each phase designed to bring measurable improvements in each learning environment.
