Catholic Education Sandhurst Limited (CESL) is seeking a Physical Education Teacher to join our teaching team. This is an exciting ongoing / part time opportunity reporting to the Principal.  

Position Summary

Deliver a dynamic Health and Physical Education curriculum that empowers students to enhance their health, wellbeing, safety, and physical activity engagement in diverse and evolving contexts. The role plays a pivotal part in cultivating movement proficiency, supporting social-emotional growth, and building community connections through sport.

About The CESL Office

The CESL Office Team comprises of close to 150 employees working across 7 key functional areas, supporting over 50 schools and early childhood centres within the Sandhurst Diocese. We are a supportive and friendly team who are committed to working collaboratively with our schools to achieve the best outcomes possible for our students. With office locations in Bendigo, Wangaratta and Tatura.

About You

· Deliver experiential Health and Physical Education programs that are based on the Victorian Curriculum and is contemporary, challenging, engaging, and enjoyable.

· Develop students’ understanding of healthy living, active lifestyles, fitness, and psychological wellbeing.

· Provide opportunities for students to acquire movement skills, strategies, and confidence in a range of physical activities.

· Organise and manage all interschool sporting events across the Hume Region, liaising with various members of School Sports Victoria.

· Promote inclusive participation and sportsmanship in all school-based and regional sporting events.
