Salary per year: $120,000 - $140,000 - excluding superannuation (dependent upon experience)
Catholic Education Sandhurst Limited (CESL) is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Procurement Manager to lead the next phase of our procurement journey.
This is an opportunity to shape a role, build capability, and influence how procurement is delivered across a network of 51 Catholic schools a throughout Central and North Eastern Victoria.
As CESL continues to strengthen key corporate services, you will play a pivotal role in building a contemporary procurement function that delivers value, consistency, risk management and outstanding support to school leaders. This is more than a traditional procurement role—it's an opportunity to create lasting impact across one of Victoria's largest regional education systems.
About the Role
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Procurement Manager will lead procurement strategy, governance and operational activities across CESL.
You will partner closely with schools and CESL teams to:
Lead the development and implementation of CESL's procurement strategy and operating model.
Support schools to achieve value-for-money outcomes through effective procurement practices.
Establish and strengthen procurement governance, policies and frameworks.
Manage supplier relationships, tender processes and contract negotiations.
Identify opportunities for greater collaboration, standardisation and centralisation across the network.
Build procurement capability and confidence across schools and CESL teams.
Deliver practical solutions that balance local school needs with system-wide benefits.
