Catholic Education Sandhurst Limited (CESL) is seeking a Enterprise Risk, Strategy and Reporting Advisor to join us. This is an exciting ongoing full time opportunity to be part of Catholic Education in the Sandhurst Diocese.

Join CESL as a trusted advisor, providing enterprise risk oversight, strategic Board and executive risk reporting, and enterprise risk capability uplift to support informed decision-making across schools and central functions.

The Position

  • Title: Enterprise Risk, Strategy and Reporting Advisor 
  • Classification: CEO Administration Level 5 (CEMEA 2022)
  • FTE / Hours per week: 1 FTE / 38 hours per week
  • Employment Status: Ongoing
  • Location: Bendigo, Tatura or Wangaratta
  • Other Requirements: WWCC and National Police Check, current unrestricted Driver’s Licence.

About You

  • A collaborative enterprise risk professional with experience in complex or regulated environments.
  • Skilled in Board and executive risk reporting, risk frameworks, and risk appetite development.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking ability, with excellent written communication skills.
  • Confident providing constructive challenge and partnering across schools and central functions.
  • Organised and able to manage competing priorities while supporting risk maturity uplift.
  • Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience in risk, governance or a related field.
  • A commitment to Catholic Education, child safety, and culturally respectful practice.

About The CESL Office

The CESL Office Team comprises close to 150 employees working across seven key functional areas, supporting more than 50 schools and early childhood centres within the Sandhurst Diocese. We are a supportive and friendly team committed to working collaboratively with our schools to achieve the best outcomes possible for our students, with office locations in Bendigo, Wangaratta and Tatura.

In 2025, a diocesan first, a comprehensive and exciting new learning and teaching program was simultaneously launched across over 50 Catholic schools in the Sandhurst Diocese. 

Magnify Sandhurst will be introduced across 2025 to 2027, with each phase designed to bring measurable improvements in each learning environment. 

Magnify Sandhurst is set to transform learning for students with more specific and explicit teaching practices, bringing greater consistency and a more predictable and effective education experience for all students.
