Catholic Education Sandhurst Limited (CESL) is seeking a Material Risk Oversight Manager to join us. This is an exciting ongoing full time opportunity to be part of Catholic Education in the Sandhurst Diocese.

The Position

• Title: Material Risk Oversight Manager
• Salary per year: $120,000 - $140,000 dependent on experience
• FTE / Hours per week: 1 FTE / 38 hours per week
• Employment Status: Ongoing
• Location: Bendigo, Tatura or Wangaratta
• Other Requirements: WWCC and National Police Check, current unrestricted Driver’s Licence.

About You

• A collaborative and pragmatic risk professional who will enjoy partnering with schools and central office functions.
• Commitment to strengthening governance, managing risk and supporting informed decision-making.
• Experience in enterprise risk, compliance or assurance, with knowledge of privacy, fraud and/or third-party risk management.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to influence, provide practical advice and exercise sound judgement.
• Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience in risk, governance or a related discipline.
• A commitment to Catholic Education, child safety, and culturally respectful practice.

The CESL Office Team comprises close to 150 employees working across seven key functional areas, supporting more than 50 schools and early childhood centres within the Sandhurst Diocese. We are a supportive and friendly team committed to working collaboratively with our schools to achieve the best outcomes possible for our students, with office locations in Bendigo, Wangaratta and Tatura.
