About the role

As a key new member of the senior executive leadership team, the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) will be responsible for:

  • overseeing the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of CESL’s enterprise risk management framework. 
  • ensuring that all strategic, operational, financial, and compliance current, emerging and future risks are identified, assessed, measured, and effectively mitigated in alignment with CESL’s mission, values, and strategic objectives.
  • supporting Sandhurst Catholic Early Childhood Education and Care Limited (SCECE&C), working closely with the Chief Early Childhood Officer to ensure that risk management practices are embedded across all early learning services.

About you

As an accomplished and strategic risk leader, you have significant experience, which ensures your credibility as a trusted adviser. You:

  • are well versed in all dimensions and facets of the governance, risk and compliance functions
  • will bring bring multi-faceted systems-thinking to this critical leadership role.
