About Sacred Heart Primary Yarrawonga

Sacred Heart Primary School was established by the Sisters of Mercy in 1890 and has provided high-quality education to families in Yarrawonga and the surrounding districts for over 122 years.

As a proud contributor to the broader Yarrawonga community, Sacred Heart actively works to enhance and support vital connections within the community.

Sacred Heart is a member of the local education system known as Catholic Education Yarrawonga (CEY), which comprises two institutions: Sacred Heart Primary School and Sacred Heart College. Our mission is to facilitate collaboration between these campuses on common educational issues, policies, and the future delivery of Catholic education in our region.

We believe that talents should not be a matter of chance; rather, they should be intentionally sought out and nurtured. Therefore, we offer a diverse range of learning experiences to provide all students with the opportunity to become the best version of themselves.

Sacred Heart Primary School is recognized for its excellence, taking great pride in our achievements, setting high expectations for both staff and students, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
