Catholic Education Sandhurst Limited (CESL) is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our Inclusive Education team in an exciting ongoing full-time role. This is a great opportunity to support students and schools across our large school community.

The Position

  • Title: Speech Pathology – Grade 2 or 3
  • Classification: CEO Speech Pathologist (CEMEA 2022)
  • FTE / Hours per fortnight: 1 FTE / 38 hours per week
  • Employment Status: Ongoing
  • Location: Wangaratta
  • Other Requirements: Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology Employee WWCC and National Police Check or VIT, Drivers License
  • Potential start date: Early 2026

About The CESL Office

The CESL Office Team comprises of close to 150 employees working across 7 key functional areas, supporting over 50 schools and early childhood centres within the Sandhurst Diocese. We are a supportive and friendly team who are committed to working collaboratively with our schools to achieve the best outcomes possible for our students. With office locations in Bendigo, Wangaratta and Tatura.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff and families.
  • Experience working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to support student learning and wellbeing.
  • Empathetic, patient and adaptable approach to supporting students with diverse communication needs.

Magnify Sandhurst

In 2025, a diocesan first, a comprehensive and exciting new learning and teaching program was simultaneously launched across over 50 Catholic schools in the Sandhurst Diocese. 

Magnify Sandhurst will be introduced across 2025 to 2027, with each phase designed to bring measurable improvements in each learning environment. 

Magnify Sandhurst is set to transform learning for students with more specific and explicit teaching practices, bringing greater consistency and a more predictable and effective education experience for all students. 

The Magnify Sandhurst program combines evidence-based practices in teaching and learning to support each student's unique needs, strengths, and goals, focusing on strengthening core areas like literacy and numeracy, building supportive classroom environments, and integrating Catholic values in daily learning.
