Catholic Education Sandhurst Limited (CESL) is seeking a Finance Officer and Assistant to Leadership to join our administration team. This is an exciting ongoing, part time opportunity in a dynamic school environment.  

As the Finance Officer & Assistant to Leadership, you will be a vital member of the Administrative Team. Your core responsibility would be to provide excellent financial and administrative support to the Executive Team. You would therefore actively conduct all duties and interactions in a professional manner, supporting the school’s Vision, Mission and Catholic Ethos and making a positive contribution to its culture and environment.

 

The Position

  • Title: Finance Officer and Assistant to Leadership 
  • Classification: Education Support Officer Cat C, Level 3
  • Salary per hour/year: $78,988 - $89,499 (full time equivalent) (excluding superannuation)
  • FTE / Hours per fortnight: 0.74 / 28 hours per week
  • Employment Status: Ongoing
  • Location: Baranduda
  • Other Requirements: WWCC, National Police Check, First Aid Certificate, Diploma or Cert 4 Accounting /Bookkeeping or higher.
  • Potential start date: May 2026

 

About The CESL Office

The CESL Office Team comprises of close to 150 employees working across 7 key functional areas, supporting over 50 schools and early childhood centres within the Sandhurst Diocese. We are a supportive and friendly team who are committed to working collaboratively with our schools to achieve the best outcomes possible for our students. With office locations in Bendigo, Wangaratta and Tatura.

 

We are looking for:

  • A good working knowledge and experience in the use of Windows based applications
  • EA and/or Finance experience
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Strong communication and literacy skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
