Catholic Education Sandhurst Limited (CESL) is seeking a Professional Standards Coordinator to join our dynamic People and Culture team in the Professional Standards Office.  Reporting directly to Employee Relations, Health and Safety Lead, this is an exciting ongoing, part-time opportunity to join a growing function and work on complex, meaningful challengaes in a supportive team environment.

Position Summary

The Professional Standards Coordinator manages CESL’s end‑to‑end Requests for Information (RFI) and information releases workflow, including subpoenas, formal RFIs, and public enquiries. The role reviews and redacts sensitive information to ensure privacy, compliance, and risk mitigation. It oversees the dedicated inbox and eForms system to ensure all requests are accurately logged, tracked, and completed within required timeframes. The Coordinator supports the broader Professional Standards Office and also responds to stakeholder enquiries and supports the development and implementation of consistent, compliant practices across CESL.

About The CESL Office (CESLO)

The CESLO Team comprises of close to 150 employees working across 7 key functional areas, supporting over 50 schools and early childhood centres within the Sandhurst Diocese. We are a supportive and friendly team who are committed to working collaboratively with our schools to achieve the best outcomes possible for our students. With office locations in Bendigo, Wangaratta and Tatura.

About You

We're looking for someone who brings:

  • High accuracy, attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and with a high level of confidentiality.
  • Clear analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with capacity to resolve stakeholder queries and requests for information.
  • Ability to utilise internal systems for researching and responding to stakeholder requests with a broad lens.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with staff at all levels about technical issues and work processes.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience of information access would be highly regarded, but not essential
