Join Catholic Education Sandhurst Limited (CESL) as an HR Coordinator and play a key role in supporting effective, compliant and people‑centred human resource and recruitment services across a portfolio of schools. As part of the HR Operations team within the broader People & Culture function, you’ll work closely with school leaders and internal stakeholders to deliver end‑to‑end recruitment coordination and generalist HR support across the employee lifecycle, ensuring alignment with CESL policies, enterprise agreements and employment‑related legislation, and contribute to workforce attraction initiatives, including career expos and diversity and inclusion activities.

You’ll also contribute to continuous improvement by supporting reporting, analysing recruitment data, and identifying opportunities to refine HR and recruitment practices. This role requires strong organisational and communication skills, sound judgement, and the ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality, while operating with a degree of autonomy in a service‑oriented environment aligned to the mission and values of CESL.

 The Position

  • Classification:  CEO Administration Level 4, Catholic Education Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2022
  • FTE / Hours per fortnight: 1.0 FTE (potential for .80 FTE, by negotiation)
  • Employment Status: Ongoing
  • Location: Bendigo, Tatura or Wangaratta
  • Potential start date: 23 February 2026

About The CESL Office

The CESL Office Team comprises of close to 150 employees working across 7 key functional areas, supporting over 50 schools and early childhood centres within the Sandhurst Diocese. We are a supportive and friendly team who are committed to working collaboratively with our schools to achieve the best outcomes possible for our students. With office locations in Bendigo, Wangaratta and Tatura.
