This is an opportunity to shape a role, build capability, and influence how procurement is delivered across a network of 51 Catholic schools a throughout Central and North Eastern Victoria.
About this Role
- Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the Procurement Category Advisor is responsible for managing strategic ICT, Capital Planning and Infrastructure procurement activities and associated supplier contracts.
- Partners with internal stakeholders to develop category strategies, sourcing plans and procurement solutions that align with organisational priorities and governance frameworks.
- Provides strategic commercial advice, market insights and supplier performance recommendations to support informed decision-making and value creation.
- Leads end-to-end procurement processes, including sourcing, tendering, contract negotiation, supplier management and contract renewals.
- Ensures procurement activities comply with relevant legislation, policies, governance requirements and risk management frameworks.
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to drive continuous improvement, cost optimisation and service excellence.
- Conducts market analysis and category reviews to identify opportunities for innovation, efficiency and commercial benefits across ICT and infrastructure spend categories.
- Contributes to the mission and values of Catholic Education Sandhurst, supporting a culture of integrity, collaboration and service to school communities.
