Catholic Education Sandhurst Limited (CESL) is seeking two Employee Relations Coordinators to join our People and Culture function within the Employee Relations, Health and Safety team. This is an exciting full-time, 6-month fixed-term opportunity reporting to the Employee Relations, Health and Safety Lead.

In these hands-on ER roles, you will provide timely, practical and high-quality employee relations and industrial relations support to school leaders across CESL. You will help manage workplace matters, interpret enterprise agreements and legislation, support case management and contribute to fair, compliant and positive outcomes for Catholic school communities.

  • Classification: CEO Administration Level 4 under the Catholic Education Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2022
  • FTE: Full time
  • Employment Status: 6-month fixed-term appointment
  • Location: Bendigo, Wangaratta or Tatura

About The CESL Office

The CESL Office Team comprises close to 150 employees working across seven key functional areas, supporting more than 50 schools and early childhood centres within the Sandhurst Diocese. We are a supportive and friendly team committed to working collaboratively with our schools to achieve the best outcomes possible for our students, with office locations in Bendigo, Wangaratta and Tatura.

About You

  • You bring experience in human resources, employee relations or industrial relations, with confidence interpreting enterprise agreements, awards, legislation and organisational policies.
  • You are a practical and trusted advisor who can support leaders through workplace matters, performance concerns, grievances, change processes and sensitive employee issues.
  • You communicate clearly and respectfully, exercise sound judgement, and maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling complex or sensitive matters.
  • You are organised, responsive and comfortable working with competing priorities, accurate documentation and time-sensitive case management.
  • You are committed to Catholic education, child safety, inclusion and working in a way that reflects dignity, fairness, respect and care.
