Catholic College Wodonga is seeking a Casual Laboratory Technician to join our friendly school environment. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of Catholic Education in the Sandhurst Diocese.

The Casual Laboratory Technician provides expert assistance to Learning and Teaching staff in delivering practical activities for the Science learning area. This particular casual position offers support and leave replacement for our Laboratory Technician team as needed.


The Position

  • Title: Casual Laboratory Technician
  • Classification: Education Support Officer, Category A, Level 2
  • Remuneration: Casual wage rates as per the CEMEA – currently $46 per hour.
  • Employment Status: Casual
  • Location: Catholic College, 1 Bowman Court, Wodonga.
  • Other Requirements: Victorian WWCC (Employee), National Police Check, First Aid Certificate.
  • Potential start date: 13th July 2026

  • You are qualified in laboratory techniques at a Certificate or Diploma level.
  • You bring strong practical experience in a laboratory environment and knowledge of contemporary laboratory technician practices.
  • You demonstrate an understanding of safe work practices and regulations.
  • You are highly organised, and able to work well in a team environment.
