St Monica's Primary School is seeking a friendly, organised and professional Administration Officer to join our school community. This part-time position (Tuesday to Friday, 8:15am–4:00pm) plays a vital role in supporting the daily operations of the school and providing outstanding service to students, families, staff and visitors.

Working as part of a collaborative administration team, you will be responsible for reception, student attendance, first aid, enrolment administration and general office support, helping ensure the smooth and efficient running of our school.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide professional reception and customer service to students, families and visitors.
  • Manage phone calls, emails and general office enquiries.
  • Support student attendance processes and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide first aid and assist with student medical administration.
  • Assist with student enrolments, transfers and exits.
  • Support school events, communications and administrative projects.
  • Maintain confidential records and documentation.
  • Work collaboratively with staff to support the daily operations of the school.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • A professional, positive and team-focused approach.
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

 

Requirements

  • Current Working with Children Check.
  • National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
  • First Aid qualifications or willingness to obtain.
  • Commitment to child safety and the values of Catholic Education.
