We are seeking a Music Teacher to join our school community.

A great Fixed Term Part Time opportunity exists for a Music Teacher to join our positive, supportive and close-knit school environment.

You will:

• Demonstrate a strong commitment to Catholic Education and Catholic Identity.

• Be able to demonstrate a capacity to deliver a high quality Music program from Foundation to Year 6.

• Teach a school choir so that they are able to perform at school and community functions. 

• Work with other creative arts teachers to present whole school musical performances or concerts. 

• Knowledge and understanding of effective classroom management.

• A demonstrated knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum

• Work with students, parents and teachers to provide a supportive learning environment that embraces challenges with confidence and resilience. 

• Demonstrate the capacity to work and communicate effectively as a team member.

All applicants require:

• Victorian Institute of Teaching registration. 

• An understanding of and commitment to the VRQA Child Safe Standards. 

• Accreditation to Teach Religious Education in a Catholic school, or a willingness to seek accreditation.
