Catholic Education Sandhurst is seeking a School Finance Advisor to join our Operations Team. This is an exciting ongoing full time opportunity to be part of Catholic Education in the Sandhurst Diocese.

Join our School Finance Advisor Team and support Sandhurst schools with hands-on financial guidance in budgeting, compliance, grants, and planning. As a School Finance Advisor, you’ll work with a small group of schools to build strong financial structures, manage risk, and contribute to the future of Catholic Education Sandhurst.


The Position

  • Title: School Finance Advisor
  • Classification: CEO Administration Level 5 (CEMEA 2022)
  • Salary per hour/year: $100,149.00 - $109,768.00 dependent upon experience
  • FTE / Hours per fortnight: 1 FTE / 76 hours per fortnight
  • Employment Status: Ongoing 
  • Location: Bendigo
  • Other Requirements: Employee Working with Children's Check, National Police Check, Drivers Licence
  • Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in Business, Accounting, Finance and/ or significant experience in Finance 
  • Potential start date: October 2025

About You

  • Proven ability to work autonomously as well as within a team environment and to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with school leadership and staff.
  • Demonstrated knowledge, experience, and success in financial management.
  • High-level knowledge and skills in working with General Ledger software packages and the Microsoft Office package (particularly Excel).
