St Joseph’s Primary School, Rochester, is seeking a warm and organised Administration Officer to join our friendly school community. This fixed-term, part-time role offers the chance to be part of Catholic Education in the Sandhurst Diocese, making every day count for our students, families, visitors, and staff.

The School Administration Officer provides essential support to the school through customer service, general administration, student services and communication, as well as ensuring compliance, OHS, and First Aid requirements are met.

  • Classification: Education Support Officer Level 2 Category B CEMEA 2022)
  • Salary per hour/year:
  • FTE per week: 0.6
  • Employment Status: Fixed Term, Parental Leave ending 18th September 2026
  • Location: St Joseph’s Primary School Rochester
  • Other Requirements: WWCC, Drivers Licence
  • Potential start date: 17th September 2025 or by negotiation

About You

St Joseph’s Primary School is looking for someone who is:

  • Highly organised and efficient, with strong communication skills and the ability to work both collaboratively and independently
  • Adaptable and resourceful, they will respond effectively to changing needs while maintaining attention to detail
  • Commitment to Catholic Education, demonstrating understanding and willingness to work within the Catholic ethos, traditions and practices of the Diocese of Sandhurst.
  • Experience administration and operational management (Certificate I or II desirable but not essential)
  • Proficient in word processing and computer skills within the Microsoft Suite.
  • Holds a current Woking with Children Check, current First Aid and Anaphylaxis
