We’re seeking a dynamic Project Manager to lead the delivery of organisation-wide, high-impact initiatives including the rollout of a new ERP system. In this key role, you’ll plan, execute, and deliver strategic projects that will shape CESL’s future. If you’re innovative, skilled at engaging stakeholders, and adaptable to shifting priorities, we want to hear from you!

Join our new Program Delivery Team in this exciting, ongoing full-time role reporting to the Head of Program Delivery.

The Position

  • Title: Project Manager
  • Salary per year: $110,000-$145,000 excluding superannuation (dependent upon experience)
  • FTE / Hours per fortnight: 1 FTE – 76 hour per fortnight
  • Employment Status: Ongoing
  • Location: Bendigo
  • Other Requirements: Employee Working With Children Check, National Police Check (or valid VIT) Drivers License
  • Potential start date: October 2025


About The CESL Office

The CESL Office Team comprises of close to 150 employees working across 7 key functional areas, supporting over 50 schools and early childhood centres within the Sandhurst Diocese. We are a supportive and friendly team who are committed to working collaboratively with our schools to achieve the best outcomes possible for our students. With office locations in Bendigo, Wangaratta and Tatura.

About You

  • Proven track record managing end-to-end projects, including ERP implementations
  • Strong knowledge of project management and SDLC methodologies
  • Expert in project and process management tools
  • Skilled in leading teams, managing competing priorities, and delivering under pressure
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and decision-making abilities
  • Advanced digital literacy across Microsoft 365 and documentation tools
  • Committed to working within Catholic values and ensuring child safety compliance

Magnify Sandhurst

In 2025, a diocesan first, a comprehensive and exciting new learning and teaching program was simultaneously launched across over 50 Catholic schools in the Sandhurst Diocese. 

Magnify Sandhurst will be introduced across 2025 to 2027, with each phase designed to bring measurable improvements in each learning environment. 

Magnify Sandhurst is set to transform learning for students with more specific and explicit teaching practices, bringing greater consistency and a more predictable and effective education experience for all students. 

The Magnify Sandhurst program combines evidence-based practices in teaching and learning to support each student's unique needs, strengths, and goals, focusing on strengthening core areas like literacy and numeracy, building supportive classroom environments, and integrating Catholic values in daily learning.
