Catholic Education Sandhurst Limited (CESL) is seeking a Professional Standards Advisor to join the team. Reporting directly to the Employee Relations, Health and Safety Lead, this is an exciting opportunity to join the growing Professional Standards Office and contribute to future success. 

In this newly created role, the incumbent will work closely with the Lead to advise on reportable conduct and safeguarding matters, manage sensitive and complex cases, build leader capability through training, ensure compliance, and drive continuous improvement. This role will Provide expert advice and case management on reportable conduct, build leader capability, ensure compliance, and drive child safety through training, resources, and collaborative safeguarding initiatives

  • Classification: CEMEA CEO Administration, Level 5 
  • FTE / Hours per fortnight: .60 FTE

About The CESL Office
The CESL Office Team comprises of close to 150 employees working across 7 key functional areas, supporting over 50 schools and early childhood centres within the Sandhurst Diocese. About You
The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience working within a child safety, legal or employee relations field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience handling sensitive cases and confidential matters
  • Knowledge of Victorian child safety and reportable conduct legislation
  • Ability to build trust, influence stakeholders, and deliver training
  • High discretion, professionalism, and commitment to continuous improvement

In 2025, a diocesan first, a comprehensive and exciting new learning and teaching program was simultaneously launched across over 50 Catholic schools in the Sandhurst Diocese.  Magnify Sandhurst will be introduced across 2025 to 2027, with each phase designed to bring measurable improvements in each learning environment.
