About You

You are an enthusiastic and faith-filled leader with a deep commitment to Catholic education. You bring:

  • Proven leadership experience in a Catholic school.
  • Registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (or equivalent).
  • Accreditation to Teach Religious Education or Lead in a Catholic School.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A Master’s degree in education or a related field (or a willingness to commence these studies soon after appointment).

About Magnify Sandhurst

In 2025, a diocesan first, comprehensive and exciting new learning and teaching program was simultaneously launched across 51 Catholic schools in the Sandhurst Diocese.

Magnify Sandhurst will be introduced across 2025 to 2027, with each phase designed to bring measurable improvements in each learning environment.

Magnify Sandhurst is set to transform learning for students with more specific and explicit teaching practices, bringing greater consistency and a more predictable and effective education experience for all students.

The Magnify Sandhurst program combines evidence-based practices in teaching and learning to support each student's unique needs, strengths, and goals, focusing on strengthening core areas like literacy and numeracy, building supportive classroom environments, and integrating Catholic values in daily learning.
