Music Teaching position – Term 2, 3 & 4 2026
1 Fixed position – 1 day per week (Monday)
St. Francis of the Fields Primary School is located on a beautiful 28-acre site that is surrounded by 2 creek frontages. Our community promotes sustainable living and offers an environmental program that includes our own vegetable gardens, orchards, chickens, sheep, and cattle. Our school will have an expected 2024 enrolment of 640 students, with constant student growth expected. Key Selection Criteria. The successful applicant will…
Demonstrate a strong commitment to Catholic Education and Catholic Identity.
Be able to demonstrate the capacity to deliver a high-quality Music program from Year 5 & 6.
Teach a school choir so that they are able to perform at school and community functions.
Work with other creative arts teachers to present whole school musical performances or concerts.
Knowledge and understanding of effective classroom management.
A demonstrated knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum
Work with students, parents, and teachers to provide a supportive learning environment that embraces challenges with confidence and resilience.
Demonstrate the capacity to work and communicate effectively as a team member.
All applicants require:
Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration.
An understanding of and commitment to the VRQA Child Safe Standards.
Accreditation to Teach Religious Education in a Catholic school, or a willingness to seek accreditation.
