St Mels, Shepparton is seeking multiple Learning Support Officers to join our friendly school environment. These are exciting fixed-term part time opportunities to be part of Catholic Education Sandhurst Limited (CESL).

Are you passionate about helping students thrive? Join our team as a Learning Support Officer and play a vital role in supporting students’ social, emotional, and academic growth. In this rewarding position, you'll collaborate closely with teachers to prepare resources, monitor progress, and implement personalised learning strategies. You’ll build strong, meaningful relationships with students, guiding them to reach their full potential.

The Position

  • Classification: Category B Education Support Level 2 (CEMEA 2022)
  • Salary per hour: $28.25
  • FTE / Hours: 0.32 – 0.79 FTE *multiple positions available
  • Employment Status: Fixed Term 2025 school year
  • Location: St Mel’s, Shepparton
  • Potential start date: Early Term Two

Magnify Sandhurst

In 2025, a diocesan first, a comprehensive and exciting new learning and teaching program was simultaneously launched across over 50 Catholic schools in the Sandhurst Diocese. 

Magnify Sandhurst will be introduced across 2025 to 2027, with each phase designed to bring measurable improvements in each learning environment. 

Magnify Sandhurst is set to transform learning for students with more specific and explicit teaching practices, bringing greater consistency and a more predictable and effective education experience for all students.
