We are seeking 4 x Full Time or Part Time, Ongoing, Learning Support Officers to join our school community from 27 January 2026.

Title: Learning Support Officers

Classification: Educations Support Level 2.1 to 2.8 Category B  (all school holidays) - CEMEA 2022

FTE/ Hours per fortnight: Full Time or Part Time Negotiable 

Employment Status: Ongoing

Location: Notre Dame College Knight St or Emmaus Campus, Shepparton

You will:

  • Collaborate and Plan: Work with teachers and Learning Enrichment Leaders to plan and implement curriculum adjustments, interventions, and Personalised Learning Plans (PLPs) to support inclusive education for all students.
  • Student Support and Guidance: Assist individual students and small groups, both in and out of the classroom, by providing support aligned with their PLPs, including notetaking, scribing, clarifying instructions, and ensuring their participation in activities.
  • Progress Monitoring and Reporting: Maintain records of learning interventions, complete observation records, and regularly report on student progress to the Learning Enrichment Leaders and classroom teachers.
  • Behaviour and Relationship Management: Maintain respect, empathy, and positive relationships with students while supporting behaviour standards and ensuring a productive classroom environment.
  • Additional Camp Support: Provide supervision and assistance during camps, including supporting students’ everyday with social/emotional needs, leading small group activities, and reporting concerns to teachers.
