Catholic Education Sandhurst Limited (CESL) is seeking a Inclusive Education Lead to join our Inclusive Education Team. This is an exciting ongoing full time opportunity reporting to the Assistant Director: School Improvement and Safeguarding

The Position

  • Title: Inclusive Education Lead
  • Salary per year: $150,000 - $160,000
  • FTE / Hours per fortnight: 1 FTE / 76 hours per f/night
  • Employment Status: Ongoing
  • Location: Bendigo, Tatura or Wangaratta 
  • Other Requirements: VIT or WWCC, National Police Check, Drivers License
  • Potential start date: 19th January 2026

 About The CESL Office

The CESL Office Team comprises of close to 150 employees working across 7 key functional areas, supporting over 50 schools and early childhood centres within the Sandhurst Diocese. We are a supportive and friendly team who are committed to working collaboratively with our schools to achieve the best outcomes possible for our students. With office locations in Bendigo, Wangaratta and Tatura.

You Will

  • Hold tertiary qualifications in education.
  • Maintain current VIT registration and a Victorian Driver’s Licence.
  • Bring significant experience in leading inclusive education and support services within school settings.
  • Demonstrate the ability to lead teams, manage performance, and implement system-wide initiatives.
  • Have strong knowledge of relevant legislation and inclusive education policy (e.g. DDA, DSE, Equal Opportunity Act).
  • Use high-level interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills to collaborate effectively across roles and settings.
  • Apply experience in policy development, project management, and using data to inform strategic decisions.
  • Show a strong commitment to Catholic education, child safety, and inclusive practices for all students.

In 2025, a diocesan first, a comprehensive and exciting new learning and teaching program was simultaneously launched across over 50 Catholic schools in the Sandhurst Diocese. 

Magnify Sandhurst will be introduced across 2025 to 2027, with each phase designed to bring measurable improvements in each learning environment. 

Magnify Sandhurst is set to transform learning for students with more specific and explicit teaching practices, bringing greater consistency and a more predictable and effective education experience for all students.
