We are seeking a Human Resources Assistant  to join our positive, supportive and close-knit school community. This Ongoing, Full Time (negotiable) position will commence asap.

You will:

• Time-in-Lieu (TIL) Management: Plan, track, and communicate time in lieu accruals for staff, including preparing acquittal plans, monitoring balances, and liaising with HR leadership on TIL issues.
• Recruitment and Onboarding Support: Assist in recruitment processes, from job advertising to interview scheduling, and oversee onboarding/offboarding for staff, including the preparation of contracts and induction programs.  Updating and providing Position Descriptions to all current staff.
• Recordkeeping and Compliance: Maintain HR records, such as time in lieu, qualifications, certifications, position descriptions, and appraisal documents, ensuring data accuracy across platforms like Synergetic, CEVN, and Teams.
• Training and Development Tracking: Record staff training and qualifications, and follow up on outstanding modules to ensure compliance with professional development requirements.
• Communication and Collaboration: Provide support to the Director of HR/OHS, collaborate with staff regarding TIL and certification statuses, and maintain accurate organisational and personnel information.
