About The CESL Office
The CESL Office Team comprises of close to 150 employees working across 7 key functional areas, supporting over 50 schools and early childhood centres within the Sandhurst Diocese. We are a supportive and friendly team who are committed to working collaboratively with our schools to achieve the best outcomes possible for our students. With office locations in Bendigo, Wangaratta and Tatura.
About You
We’re looking for someone who brings:
- Demonstrated experience delivering specialist ER/IR case management in complex/unionised environments
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment and industrial relations frameworks
- Proven capability in enterprise bargaining support, union engagement, and managing industrial disputes/claims
- Advanced case management skills, including investigation, evidence assessment, and defensible decision-making
- Excellent customer service, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical capability (data gathering, metrics design, dashboards), with experience producing executive-level reports
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability communicate complex matters with clarity and brevity;
- A high level of discretion, judgement, and resilience in sensitive, high-risk matters

In 2025, a diocesan first, a comprehensive and exciting new learning and teaching program was simultaneously launched across over 50 Catholic schools in the Sandhurst Diocese.
Magnify Sandhurst will be introduced across 2025 to 2027, with each phase designed to bring measurable improvements in each learning environment.
