St Mary’s Primary School, Rushworth is seeking a casual education support officer to join our friendly and supportive school environment. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of Catholic Education in the Sandhurst Diocese while making a meaningful contribution to student learning and wellbeing.

The Education Support Officer will work closely with classroom teachers to support students within the learning environment. The role will include assisting students during classroom activities as well as supporting small group intervention programs to help students develop key skills and confidence in their learning.

The Position

  • Classification: Education Support – Casual
  • FTE / Hours: Approximately 2 days per week (as required)
  • Employment Status: Casual position for the remainder of 2026
  • Location: St Mary’s Primary School, Rushworth
  • Other Requirements: Working with Children Check and National Police Check
  • Potential Start Date: 30 March 2026

In 2025, a diocesan first, a comprehensive and exciting new learning and teaching program was simultaneously launched across over 50 Catholic schools in the Sandhurst Diocese.
