Holy Rosary School in Heathcote is seeking a passionate and visionary leader to step into the role of Deputy Principal – Behaviour Curriculum. This five-year fixed-term leadership position offers the chance to inspire a thriving school community just 30 minutes from Bendigo.

About the Role

As Deputy Principal, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping a positive, inclusive, and engaging school environment. Working closely with the Principal and leadership team, your focus will be on embedding a whole-school behaviour curriculum that supports academic excellence and student wellbeing.

In this role, you will:

• Lead the implementation of the School-Wide Positive Behaviour Support (SWPBS) framework.
• Foster a culture of respect, collaboration, and high expectations across the school.
• Oversee pastoral wellbeing initiatives, behaviour management, and student engagement strategies.
• Act as Principal during their absence, ensuring the smooth management of school operations.
• Drive evidence-informed approaches to professional development, staff capacity building, and conflict resolution.

You are an experienced and compassionate leader, deeply committed to student success and wellbeing. You have:

• Current VIT registration
• Proven experience in Catholic education leadership, with expertise in wellbeing and behaviour frameworks.
• A commitment to living and promoting the values of Catholic Education.
• Demonstrated understanding of child safe standards.
• A forward-thinking mindset and the ability to inspire continuous improvement.
