We are seeking a Data Analyst to become part of our new Business Innovation Team, the group responsible for Program Delivery, playing an important role in shaping CESL’s future. You will have proven experience supporting large scale data migrations and will play a key role in the organisation’s data strategy, supporting CESL in achieving its strategic goals. Your analyses will inform better decision-making and help establish high-quality, reliable data structures.

The Position 

  • Title: Data Analyst 
  • Salary per year: $120,000 - $140,000 - excluding superannuation (dependent upon experience)  
  • FTE / Hours per fortnight: 1 FTE – 76 hour per fortnight 
  • Employment Status: Ongoing 
  • Location: Bendigo 
  • Other Requirements: Employee Working with Children Check, National Police Check (or valid VIT) Drivers License 
  • Potential start date: April 2026 

About The CESL Office 

The CESL Office Team comprises of close to 150 employees working across 7 key functional areas, supporting over 50 schools and early childhood centres within the Sandhurst Diocese. We are a supportive and friendly team who are committed to working collaboratively with our schools to achieve the best outcomes possible for our students. With office locations in Bendigo, Wangaratta and Tatura. 

About You 

  • Proven success as a Data Analyst or in a similar data focused role supporting large-scale enterprise system implementations. 
  • Strong capability in data mapping, data cleansing, data migration and improving data quality across complex environments. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and translate them into meaningful insights. 
  • Experience working with data visualisation and reporting tools such as Power BI or equivalent. 
  • Understanding of project and change management principles, with experience supporting transformation initiatives. 
  • Experience collaborating with technical teams, business stakeholders, and vendors.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field and/or certifications in data management, business intelligence, project management or change management.
